"You don't take a photograph, you make it." ~Ansel Adams. Photography is my passion. I haven't been doing it for long, but the second I picked up a camera I knew that it was something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I am a freshman studying Photography and Digital Design at The University of Colorado Denver. One of my favorite ways to design and create a photograph is to pick an emotion to show in the photo. This can especially be shown in my self-portraits. I like to show the pain that I have been through and emphasize the beauty of that pain. The part of photography that I love is the beauty of the human body. I love to have as much skin in my photos to show the elegance of the human body. You can also see in my other photos that I love to photograph the things I love and care about, whether this is skiing, my dogs, or surfing. As I learn more about the photographic world and medium, I will expand my inspiration and subjects. Photography is an art form that I will always love and cherish no matter what happens. The best way to live life is to capture its beauty behind a camera lens.
